Marsh had teams who would extract 120 data fields from slips and supporting documentation, while maintaining high levels of accuracy. Business lines included Property, Cyber and FinPro across many geographies and languages. Manually, this was a highly labor-intensive process dealing with huge volumes of slips, with complex fields and associated business rules.The business case was predicated on making valuable business data available faster and more accurately in order to build comparisons and proposals for new clients quickly, and to deliver productivity levels that would absorb predicted business growth without additional resources.
